Internet Explorer:
Cache
Actual cache files in Internet Explorer are
cleaned during a wash with this option. After running a wash,
the Temporary Internet Files directory may not appear empty.
This is because, even though the actual cache files are cleaned,
IE stores references to these files in LOCKED index.dat database
files. Windows Explorer will look in the database for these file
names and display them even though the files themselves are
removed.
After rebooting those files can be removed
completely.
Internet Explorer Cookies to Keep
This option sets all cookies to be deleted.
The user may choose to have Anonywasher save certain
cookies on his system. Clicking the 'Keep' button will bring up
a list of them. But this feature is still under construction.
Downloaded Program Files Directory
This directory is where Internet Explorer
stores ActiveX and Java applets that have been downloaded from
the web. Checking this item will instruct Anonywasher to
clean out this directory.
Clean History and Address Bar
This option will thoroughly clean the History
and the Address Bar for Internet Explorer.
